The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed regarding the significant range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly sassa because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area every day. The support stage created for intervention experiences a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods here to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
